Annie Meeder is a PhD Candidate in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and the Institute of Arctic and Alpine Research at the University of Colorado Boulder.

Biography

Annie Meeder (she/her) is a PhD Candidate in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Department at the University of Colorado Boulder. Her ecological research focuses on understanding climate change's impact on vegetation communities and species interactions. She received her master's in biology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

Annie additionally has a deep love for teaching and ensuring all students experience the field in a meaningful way. Her biology education research aims to improve the persistence of underserved student groups in ecology and related disciplines by exploring their lived experiences and strengthening inclusivity efforts.

Outside of research, Annie is an avid reader of fiction, loves cooking, and spends time with her cat, Calochortus (Cal for short). She is also an accomplished triathlete across swim, bike, and run.
